The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (e.g., pixels, web beacons) to collect information about your browsing behavior, device, and preferences. This data helps us analyze website traffic, personalize content, and deliver targeted advertising. Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better website, by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. Paperless Billing

The words "we," "us," and "our" refer to Pekin Insurance Company and certain of its affiliates, subsidiaries or parent companies. "You" and "Your" refers to the person or persons agreeing to these Terms and Conditions and who have selected Pekin Insurance's paperless billing program. We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time; by selecting and continuing to participate in this program, you agree to be bound by them and any subsequent revisions. Please check the Terms and Conditions regularly. If you do not agree with any of these Terms and Conditions, you should not select paperless billing.

By selecting paperless billing, you will no longer receive a paper version of your premium notice or automatic payment notice by mail. Instead, you will receive a notification email at an email address that you provide to us during the selection process. This notification email will contain a link to a website where you can view your notice. It is your responsibility to log in to Pekin Insurance’s system and view your bills and to ensure that you have the technology necessary to receive and access such notices.  All communications in either electronic or paper format from us to you will be considered “in writing.”

Your participation in paperless billing will remain in effect until the billing account is no longer active or until you withdraw your participation. You may select paperless billing, update your paperless billing email address, and stop paperless billing at any time. Customers with accounts newly enrolled in automatic payments have agreed to the paperless delivery of their billing notices. To stop paperless billing, another payment option must be selected. Therefore, this requirement needs to be considered when deciding whether to stop paperless billing. Changes will take effect only after we have had reasonable time to process your request. Your withdrawal from paperless billing shall not affect the legal enforceability of billing notices provided to you before the effective date of your withdrawal.

It is also your responsibility to keep your paperless billing email address current, active, and capable of receiving new emails. To do this, please ensure that your email account has sufficient space for new emails and that your email server and spam-blocking software do not block our emails. We are not responsible for missed or misdirected communication arising from emails sent to an inactive, inaccurate, or out-of-date email address, problems arising from your mailbox being unable to receive emails, or problems related to your spam-blocking software.

Failure to receive a notification email for a billing notice does not relieve you of your responsibility to make the required payment. All applicable service fees still apply when your account is enrolled in paperless billing.

We are not required to deliver information electronically and may discontinue electronic delivery in whole or in part at any time.

THE PAPERLESS BILLING SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. YOU ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITY AND RISK FOR THE USE OF THE PAPERLESS BILLING SERVICE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PAPERLESS BILLING INFORMATION, PROCESSES, OR SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR BUG-OR-ERROR-FREE. IF APPLICABLE STATE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW THE DISCLAIMER OF CERTAIN IMPLIED WARRANTIES, THE RELEVANT PORTION OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY.

By agreeing to the Terms and Conditions, you are acknowledging that you have read and understood the disclosures and agreements above, intend to participate in a paperless billing program and that you are able to receive, access, view, sign and retain electronic communications as described above, and have authority to receive and accept paperless billing for all insureds under your policy.
