Pekin, Illinois – July 23, 2024 – The Pekin Insurance Sales & Marketing team demonstrated their commitment to community service by volunteering at the Pekin Outreach Initiative, which recently moved to a new location. On Tuesday, July 23, 2024, 14 dedicated employees spent the day cleaning and painting the Outreach center, contributing to the upkeep and improvement of this vital community resource.

The Pekin Outreach Initiative, a non-profit organization established in 2012, focuses on uniting efforts to feed the hungry, prevent homelessness, and assist those in need. The organization welcomes individuals from all walks of life and actively promotes the empowerment of those striving to get back on track.

The day was a success. The team of volunteers divided and conquered to thoroughly clean the kitchen area and paint the entire multipurpose room, an office, large built-in floor-to-ceiling cabinets, and a hallway area, all in one afternoon!
