Pekin Insurance has announced the promotion of Charlie Norder to Vice President – Property & Casualty Claims.

Charlie joined Pekin Insurance in 1997 as a Claim Trainee, marking the start of a distinguished 27-year career with the company. Over the years, his dedication and expertise have earned him progressive leadership roles, including Director and, most recently, Assistant Vice President of Claims Property/Casualty in 2022.

Charlie will lead the Property/Casualty Claims department in his new role and report directly to Joel Jackson, Senior Vice President (SVP) and Chief Operating Officer—P/C and SVP—Life. 

Charlie graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in Mathematics. During his insurance career, he earned his AIC and CPCU designations. 

Charlie is actively involved in the insurance industry and recently completed a five-year term on the Board of the Central Claim Executive Association, where he also served as President. He and the Property/Casualty Claim team will continue to focus on innovation, and he is proud of the partnerships he has brought to the department with Hi Marley, One Inc., and Aon Claims Monitor.
